3 Do you have hard standing pitches?
All of our pitches for caravans & motorhomes are graveled. We can take motorhomes up to 9m long.
4 Can we walk into York?
There are no footpaths on “our road”, and it is a very busy road, so we cannot recommend walking along it. We do have a rural bus service that stops at the end of the drive – The Transdev Coastliner – no40 – and there is also a Park & Ride a short distance away.
5 Can we bring our pet?
Certainly! Well behaved pets are free of charge. There is a public footpath where you can walk your dog along the rear of the site. Please read our Dog Rules page for further information.
6 Can we bring our teenage children?
The park is exclusively for adults, which means that it is strictly for people aged 18 years and over. The essence of our park is peace and tranquility. You are more than welcome however to meet your families in the Willow Farm Café on site, and enjoy time with them there.
7 Do you take groups?
We do not really accept groups on the site as it is not really that kind of site. Pitches are first come, first served, so it’s not easy to provide group space.
Please Note: The owners have the right to refuse admission to any caravans/tents/vehicles or guests that they consider unsuitable.
We also reserve the right to ask you to leave the park if you do not adhere to our policy of peace and tranquility.
8 Do you reserve pitches?
We do not reserve pitches, it’s simply a case of first come, first served.
9 Is the site ever closed?
No, the site is open all year round, with bookings accepted over the Christmas period too. Bookings area available online 24/7, but there is a cut-off time of 9pm for same day arrivals.
10 How do we check in?
All check in details are sent to you a day before your arrival via email, please make sure to read this as this tells you all you need to know about your stay. We no longer have a reception. Any issues please call us on 01904 750060, but please check your emails for the information before you call, especially out of hours.
11 Can we use a BBQ or fire?
Yes, if you are staying on our gravel pitches you are more than welcome to use a BBQ on the graveled area, if you are camping we ask that you bring a camping gaz stove. Disposable BBQs can be used as long as they are used above the grass on the blocks we provide. Fire pits may also be used either on the graveled areas or well above the grass. Please ensure you have a metal plate under them to collect hot ashes, and please do not dispose of hot BBQ or Fire ashes in the plastic bins.
12 Is there WiFi?
Yes, we provide WiFi on our main site, all details for this will be in your check in instructions. Please note we currently do not offer WiFi on our CL/Member Club site.
13 What is the difference between the two sites?
Our main site is a large 40 pitched site, with space for camping near the ponds for both electric and non electric tent pitches. The main site is for everybody (18+) and hosts our seasonal pitches too, whereas our club site is for members of the Caravan & Motorhome Club only. This site is an intimate 5 pitched site.
14 Where do tents pitch?
Tents are on our main site at the back, we do send a detailed check in instruction to your email of where you are to pitch up. If you are unsure of the layout of the site please see our site layout here: https://willowcaravanpark.co.uk/site/
15 Where do we park?
If you have booked our gravel pitches, you can park alongside your campervan/motorhome etc. Please do not park on the grass! If you have booked one our our tent pitches, parking is for one car per pitch, we ask that you please park next to your tent, allowing access for others. If the grass is wet please park sensibly and at the side of the roads next to the hedges. If you have more than one car we ask that you park in the cafe carpark or overflow parking at the front of the site.
